Acuity, Inc. has an opening for a solid mid-level Applications Developer (SharePoint) to join our team supporting a key federal customer.  Our team utilizes a range of platforms to assist our clients in meeting their goals including Java, C#, .Net and other object-oriented languages and frameworks, and their application to web-based software. This position requires a secret clearance and to be onsite daily.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, enhances, debugs, and implements software.  Troubleshoots production problems related to software applications.  Researches, tests, builds, and coordinates the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements. 
  • Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. 
  • Evaluates effectiveness. 
  • Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. 
  • Consults with project teams and end users to identify application requirements. 
  • Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects to management. 
  • Assists in the evaluation and recommendation of application software packages, application integration and testing tools. 
  • Resolves problems with software and responds to suggestions for improvements and enhancements. 
  • Participates in development of software user manuals and technical reports.              

 

Qualifications

 

  • Associate's degree or higher in computer science, MIS, or related discipline, and/or, 5 or more years in equivalent related experience
  • At least 5 years of experience of designing and developing business solutions for enterprise level business applications
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC), Agile Methodologies
  • At least 3+ years of experience developing business solutions for enterprise level business applications based on Microsoft SharePoint, including use of .NET framework
  • At least 3-5 year of experience in custom development using the SharePoint platform and framework and the SharePoint object model
  • Site collection administration
  • Experience in front end site design and development - SharePoint front end web interface, html, css, javascript, jquery, SharePoint Designer, Infopath Designer
  • Experience with data driven application, collaboration sites, publishing sites, intranets
  • Experience with user permission management, SharePoint groups management 
  • Strong documentation, writing and interpersonal skills
  • Working knowledge in all O365 applications, including but not limited to SharePoint, Automate, Power Apps, and PowerBi.
  • Familiarity with databases and Information Architecture.

  • Must have an active Secret security clearance

USD $100,000.00/Yr.

Max

USD $130,000.00/Yr.

Salary Range

The salary range for this position represents Acuity's good faith estimate of the compensation for this job title at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's qualifications, experience, education, certifications, skills, geographic location, contract requirements, applicable labor categories, and, where applicable, contract award and funding.
