In this role, you will serve as the Data Governance Analyst and serve as the voice of the customer and proactively represent stakeholders. Through the analysis, development, management and execution of implementing analytical solutions. These analytical solutions will be key to management and support of Data throughout the organization. Your suport of data will help to improve and strenghten policies and compliance for structured and sound data that can be used to improve our clients mission and execution of that mission.

Responsibilities

  • The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, developing, and implementing analytical solutions to manage data in support of our Data Governance tool of Collibra
  • Analyze current data management policies and procedures and identify areas for improvement
  • Develop new data management policies and procedures in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Implement data solutions in our Collibra and reporting environments to enforce policies and procedures across all departments within the company, ensuring compliance with relevant data privacy laws and regulations
  • Develop, deliver and support training programs to educate employees on data policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that data management systems are secure and compliant with relevant laws and regulations
  • Conduct Data analysis to assess data management risk associated with Guardian's data in scope for Data Governance

 

Qualifications

Education/Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, business informations systems or related studies
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in data policy analysis, preferably in the federal government space
  • The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of Data Management and Analysis
  • Experience with data management systems and data analysis tools (Collibra)
  • Experience with project management and implementation of policies and procedures
  • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data governance, regulatory compliance, and process improvement in support of Federal Government agencies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Required Clearance:

  • Must be US Citizen and have the ability to obtain and maintain a federal government level clearance.
