As an IT Portfolio Analyst you will support Diplomatic Technology (DT) by providing high quality, timely reporting services to senior team members and government management.  A successful candidate is directly responsible for supporting the analysis of current processes, developing, documenting and recommending procedural improvements while supporting Project Managers and Government staff.

Responsibilities

Duties include:

  • Support the management of the Program Office’s Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) documentation, mapping, and analysis.
  • Assisting in project planning and control gate processes.
  • Participating in the development of task deliverables.
  • Reviewing and analyzing IT Investment Management processes and data-related artifacts to assess opportunities for improvement.
  • Working as part of a team or independently to complete tasks.
  • Supporting the review and update of project documentation, workflow analysis, and costs/budgets.
  • Meeting with clients to discuss strategies for improving business processes and supporting Project Managers.

Qualifications

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in information management, business administration, or related disciplines, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years related work experience.
  • Demonstrated ability with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and SharePoint.

Desired Skills:

    • ITIL Foundations.
    • Experience with business process reengineering, configuration management, quality control assurance, organizational performance assessments, mission analysis, and strategic planning preferably within an IT organization.
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
    • Process mapping experience.

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have active Secret clearance verifiable in JPAS.
