Cloud Server Engineer/Admin

Acuity is seeking a Cloud Agnostic Engineer to support the Application Vulnerability Assessment Program in Diplomatic Technology.  This individual will work in a team environment to set up and maintain environments used for web and static code analysis and development vulnerability scanning across multiple cloud environments.

This is a hybrid position working onsite one day a week in Washington, DC.

• Cloud agnostic skillset, with experience working in Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud environments.
• Knowledge of containers/containerizing workloads, container images, Dockerfiles, and other associated technologies.
• Experience deploying and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure including, but not limited to, virtual machines, cloud storage, and key stores.

• Bachelor's Degree with experience in a related Information Technology field.

• Familiarity with the development lifecycle, coding languages and security scanning application tools within a cloud environment. 

• Prior server administration experience including regular maintenance of systems, patch installation, creating/restoring from backups, provisioning user access, etc.
• Ability to utilize infrastructure-as-code (IaC) to create immutable templates for cloud resource deployment, including Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation, etc.
• Experience working with/maintaining Windows Server, SQL Server, Active Directory, IIS, etc.
• Ability to develop and maintain Windows-based scripts for automated tasks such as regular upgrades, deployments, and maintenance.
• Strong technical writing skills to ensure infrastructure is well-documented and processes are repeatable through the writing of SOPs.
• Ability to troubleshoot IT systems to identify the root cause and provide timely resolution.

Clearance Requirement:

• MUST have an active Top Secret security clearance.
