The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Review updates to client's stewarded data for accuracy.
• Apply data governance guidance to all client's stewarded data.
• Engage with other data governance officers to ensure proper pedigree and terms and handling are applied.
• Review newly created datasets are properly documented prior to making discoverable.
• In coordination with mission partners, apply access controls to properly protect data.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Demonstrated experience and/or working knowledge of Client's data management tool to catalog and research datasets, including Collections and Data Submission Forms.
• Demonstrated experience or working knowledge of Client dataset cataloging.
• Demonstrated experience with reporting and communicating catalog defects.
• Demonstrated experience conducting activities to catalog, manage and preserve digital information.
• Demonstrated experience in areas that enhance discoverability, and appropriately disseminate digital information.
• Demonstrated experience providing guidance to users of information management systems.
• Demonstrated experience with Sharepoint
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Demonstrated experience or knowledge of Client office operations (from collecting data to submitting data to cataloguing).
• Demonstrated experience or knowledge of downstream Client systems
