Responsibilities

The Senior Developer will work with a cross-functional team building unique solutions using ServiceNow. Specifically, you will: 

  • Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of enterprise solutions in ServiceNow. 
  • Ensure the logical and systematic conversion of product requirements into solutions that acknowledge technical and schedule constraints. 
  • Use out-of-the-box or value-added features to fulfill business requests and initiatives. 
  • Perform workflow design, configuration, development, and data loads for ServiceNow platform applications. 
  • Program workflow, enhancements, and integrations with ServiceNow platform applications. 
  • Ensure solutions are secure, stable, and available to users. 
  • Provide innovative solutions and ideas for process and platform automation. 
  • Maintain technical documentation and mentor peers on ServiceNow best practices. 
  • Perform advanced customizations including Business Rules, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Scripts, Script Includes, Client Scripts, workflows, custom tables, reports etc. 
  • Maintain technical expertise relevant industry standards and best practices in ServiceNow. 
  • Led the successful migration of legacy data repositories to ServiceNow, ensuring data completeness, accuracy, and compliance with security standards.

  • Developed comprehensive data cleansing and normalization routines to improve the quality of legacy data before integration into ServiceNow.

  • Performed in-depth data analysis on legacy systems to identify dependencies, relationships, and potential migration challenges.

  • Troubleshot and resolved data integrity issues throughout the migration process, proactively mitigating risks.

  • Created thorough data migration documentation, including mapping tables, transformation rules, and validation procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. 
  • At least eight (8) years of IT experience. 
  • At least five (5) years of ServiceNow Development experience 
  • Must be a ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or possess at least one (1) Certified Implementer Product Certification.. 
  • Must be a ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator. 
  • Experience with Agile Development and Test Management application frameworks 
  • Experience with DevOps pipeline tools including configuration management, requirements (e.g., Jira), automated testing, and deployment. 
  • Experience with developing and managing data models. 
  • Experience designing and developing solutions with PaaS solutions such as ServiceNow in an Agile environment. 
  • Experience with developing scoped applications in a delegated development environment. 
  • Experience developing applications with responsive web design frameworks to support multiple platforms including compatibility with Chrome, Internet Explorer, and iOS. 

 

Clearance Requirement: 

  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
