Overview

Acuity, Inc. is looking for a dynamic individual to support a large enterprise implementation of ServiceNow as a business analyst, for a large government customer.  The right candidate will have the opportunity to interface with multiple customers and offices across the department and help the development teams understand the business needs.  The candidate will be key member of an agile team, working to iteratively deliver value to our customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Define business requirements, manage scope, and coordinate activities with stakeholders to ensure priorities are accurately reflected.
  • Analytically assess, investigate, interpret, and creatively solve complex business & technical problems.
  • Develop user stories and use cases that define user and system interaction.
  • Communicates directly with subject matter experts related to specific project tasks.
  • Create test scenarios and develop test plans to be used in testing business applications to verify that stakeholder requirements are incorporated into the system design.
  • Experience in producing enterprise level reports, including compiling data from several different sources
  • Aid in developing metrics and reporting for business leads as well as tracking performance
  • Providing application operational support, process support, and user acceptance support.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent related field experience)
  • Demonstrated accomplishment of ServiceNow assignments that required knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, multiple modules, and development of scoped applications
  • Experience collaborating with business stakeholders.
  • Experience documenting detailed, formal requirements including Business Cases, Use Cases, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria / Conditions of Satisfaction, etc.
  • IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments.
  • Strong skills in leadership and teambuilding, decision making, reasoning, and problem solving
  • Strong communication (written and oral), presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Clearable; i.e., able to obtain a U.S. Security clearance

Desired Qualifications

  • ITIL® Foundation certification
  • ServiceNow Certified Administrator
  • Prior experience working with and developing applications in ServiceNow

ADDED BONUS:  ITIL® intermediate certifications, ServiceNow development or implementation certifications, Human Centered Design knowledge, working knowledge of client

 

Clearance Requirement

  • Must have Active DoD secret clearance verified in JPAS. Top Secret preferred.
