Oracle Analytics Server (OAS) Developer

Acuity, Inc. has an opening for an OAS Developer to join our team supporting a key government client.

This role will be responsible for modification, documentation, performing analysis and support of daily operations for the data warehousing and reporting system. They will work closely with the customer and stakeholders to understand business requirements and ensure that the reports are generated in a timely manner with correct data. The position will consult with end users to identify current reporting requirements in a fast paced team-oriented environment. This position includes architecting, designing, coding, modifying, testing, debugging, documenting, installing, and deploying systems.

The OBIEE Developer's key duties and responsibilities include:

• Analyzing requirements and creating new OBIEE/OAS reports
• Updating and deploying RPD
• Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues.
• Define the problem, and develops system requirements and program specifications, from which programmers prepare detailed flow charts, programs, and tests.
• Analyze the problem and the information to be processed.
• Identify permanent fixes to recurring problems.
• Run reporting schedules for business users.
• Analyze and develop computer software possessing a wide range of capabilities, including numerous engineering, business, and records management functions.
• Develop plans for automated information systems from project inception to conclusion.
• Analyze user interfaces, maintain hardware and software performance tuning, analyze workload and computer usage, maintain interfaces with outside systems, analyze downtimes, and analyze proposed system modifications, upgrades and new COTS.

REQUIRED

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5+ Years Programming/Reporting Experience in OBIEE to include OAS experience
• 5+ Years of Full Agile Business Analysis Experience or Strong Analytical Aptitude
• Experience with OBIEE 12c

DESIRED

• Experience with Visual Analyzer
• Strong SQL skills
• OBIEE/OAS System Administration experience
• Aptitude for complex problem analysis / resolution
• Excellent communication skills; ability to effectively communicate to target audience
• Ability to effectively work with all levels of personnel within the organization
• Detail-orientated; uses sound judgment; and is self-motivated with the ability to handle multiple tasks
• Very good organization and time management skills
• Additional industry certifications are a plus
