Overview

Acuity is looking for a savvy Technical Program Manager responsible for building Acuity’s Intelligence Community (IC) capabilities. The ideal candidate will make tangible contributions that steer Acuity forward and exceed expectations in client relationship dealings. This role will keep the client’s IT organization running smoothly and efficiently with an ability to directly impact the client’s and Acuity’s growth. Immediately, this role will lead and manage the IT modernization of the client’s systems and applications to the cloud. The position requires in-person obligations on-site in Washington, DC with some DMV area meetings.

Responsibilities

  • Manages 25-40 contractor personnel along with subcontractors, some with remote and on-site expectations, including staffing selection and assignment, overseeing staff integration into assigned projects, cost control, schedule management to ensure on-time delivery, and implementing consistent quality assurance across all task orders. 
  • Develops and implements a flexible staffing plan to recognize, anticipate and align with the fluctuations and shifting priorities related to the support requirements for each awarded task order. Effectively balance on- and off-premises support, leveraging cloud environment to the extent practical.  
  • Plans for the effective and timely staff transition to assume full performance responsibilities from departing Contractor support teams. 
  • Provides tracking across the full contract effort, ensuring that resources are appropriately allocated and ensuring timely and complete fulfillment of deliverable requirements. 
  • Provides superior client relationship management and creates trusting relationships with government decision-makers, Product Owners, and IC stakeholders. Collaborates closely with the Contracting Officer Representative (COR), Government Technical Monitor (GTM), and GTM to ensure performance under the contract is fully integrated and efficiently delivered, consistent with the defined work scope of the awarded task orders. 
  • Coaches and trains government personnel in their discipline, rigor, and implementation of Agile Methodologies and practices to notably mature the client’s IT organization.  
  • Up briefs Acuity’s Business Unit leadership on contract status and demonstrates leadership as a corporate citizen and leader, winning new business and establishing newly awarded contracts.

Qualifications

  • Must have an active PMP certification
  • Possess active Agile certification (e.g., CSM, A-CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, DASSM, etc.) 
  • At least 15 years of total experience 
  • At least 3 years of experience working with the intelligence community, homeland security and/or justice agencies  
  • At least 3 years of experience implementing agile software development projects 
  • At least 1 year of experience working with AWS services with experience with AWS classified regions is desired 
  • Demonstrated experience managing mid to large-size teams (20 FTEs or more) across multiple initiatives 
  • Highly desirable - Provides technical, managerial, and administrative direction for projects 
  • Knowledgeable of the Director of National Intelligence Community Directives and National Intelligence Strategy (NIS) 
  • Highly desirable - Possess active Change Management certification (e.g., PROSCI, ACMP CCMP)  

 Clearance Requirement:

  • Must possess a DOD Top Secret (TS) with the ability to obtain SCI
