Acuity, Inc. seeks a dynamic, self-motivated individual with experience working on or leading project teams. Your expertise will facilitate the execution of IT projects by evaluating project feasibility; establishing, developing, implementing, and controlling project plans; supporting operations; and analyzing project results.  Familiarity overseeing IT related projects within the federal government as well as five or more years of project related experience is preferred.   Must be able to work onsite as needed with one-day notice for meeting etc.


  • Establishes IT project plan by determining project objectives, technical approach, and schedules 
  • Gathers and documents business and system requirements 
  • Coordinates and leads project team meetings with technical staff and other key stakeholders 
  • Establishes financial objectives by preparing a project budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances, initiating corrective actions 
  • Develops communications plans for enterprise-wide IT deployments 
  • Prepares IT to project status reports and presentations by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends 
  • Provides technical support, including planning and implementing project solutions 
  • Provides hands-on support to the CIO IT team, which directs the day-to-day activities of two development platforms: ServiceNow and Azure 
  • Assists in the architecture, design, management and implementation of ServiceNow and Azure applications 
  • Determines IT project feasibility by examining project alignment with organizational strategies and plans 
  • Helps in developing IT project business case/Project Charter 
  • Establishes IT project plan by determining project objectives and technical approach 
  • Controls IT project plan by managing changes; reviewing open issues and risks; communicating essential information to project team and stakeholders 
  • Prepares IT to project status reports and presentations by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
  • Maintains project documentation repository



  • 5+ years of recent experience in software project management 
  • PMP Certification 
  • Shows initiative, presents ideas to overcome challenges, self-starter 
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and apply, team  
  • At least five (5) years of experience in IT Project Management 
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills 
  • Ample experience with all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) 
  • Agile (Scrum) experience 
  • Experience working and managing teams over 40 people 
  • Hands on experience with ServiceNow custom scoped application development 
  • Familiarity with Azure Cloud application development

Preferred Skills 


  • Five (5) to Ten (10) years of experience in Project Management preferred 
  • Familiarity with State Department   

Clearance Requirement


  • Must have an Active DOD Secret clearance or higher
