Scrum Master

Acuity, Inc. has an opening for a Scrum Master to support a cabinet-level federal agency. This position is part of a newly-formed agile team that will work together to design and develop the AWS Commercial service that will support internal customers across the agency.  Are you a dynamic and creative individual who enjoys working in a collaborative environment for the development of mission-enabling cloud technology? The Scrum Master is responsible for managing program increments, managing and overseeing Agile Ceremonies, maintaining the Capabilities, Features/Enablers, and the user stories in Jira Alignment/Jira. The Scrum Master is also responsible for project scoping, process documentation, maintaining sprint roadmap and allocating resources on Technology Refresh Agile project, as well as leading daily sprints.

Education/Skills Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3-8 years of work experience 
• Possess a minimum of two (2) years of direct experience as a scrum master
• Experience and/or knowledge AGILE LESS or SCALE
• Must possess a working knowledge and/or certification in SAFe methodology
• Understanding of Gherkin style method for requirementsExperience in Requirement Gathering and Sign-off, Scrum sessions, Gap Analysis, Flow Diagrams, Use Cases, Business Requirements and Rules, Meeting Minutes
• Must be a Certified Scrum Master (Additional certification in SAFe is highly desirable)
  

Clearance:

• US Citizen and be able to meet High Risk, Law Enforcement Sensitive background and have the ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
