Data Visualization Developer/Data Engineer

We are looking for new talent to add to our growing team and are currently hiring a Data Engineer specializing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA)  Must work onsite in Springfield, VA 2 days a week and as needed.

Self-motivated individual with experience and skills as a Data Visualization Developer. This individual will utilize skills in data engineering, data analytics, data warehousing, and visualization, supporting financial initiatives at a key government client site. Additionally, this individual will work with financial analysts and government stakeholders to comprehend analytic needs, analyze data, develop data visualization and integration techniques, and identify metrics and gaps to develop actionable and interactive financial dashboards.  We are looking for new talent to add to our growing team and are currently hiring a Data Engineer specializing in Robotic Process Automation (RPA)  Must work onsite in Springfield, VA 2 days a week and as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Finance, Business (or at last 3-5 years of related field experience)

• Experience planning, developing & designing dashboard visualizations
• Experience developing dashboards with modular design, filters, calculated fields, sets, groups, or parameters utilizing visualization platforms
• Experience with extracting data from industry standard database systems
• Experience integrating backend (databases) with frontend (visualization platforms)
• Experience with Tableau and/or PowerBI
• Knowledge of Tableau and/or PowerBI best practices in performance tuning and user-centric design
• Understand and implement best practices in management of data; including master data, reference data, metadata, and data quality
• Ability to gather and analyze data
• Support regular ad-hoc data querying and analysis
• Superior problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a team environment – establish and maintain relationships within and across groups
• Strong communication skills – written and verbal
• Experience with Excel, Access, SQL or industry standard databases
• Experience building financial reports
• Experience working with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile methodologies (Scrum)

   

Additional/Desired Qualifications

• Experience with Alteryx – designing and creating work flows

Clearance Requirement:

Must be US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret level security clearance. An Active DOD Secret clearance or higher is preferred.
