Acuity, Inc. seeks a senior-level Process Improvement Analyst to directly support a highly-visible Federal customer. Acuity supports key Federal Government clients and we are looking for a dynamic individual to act in an advisory and practical capacity to our client within the Department of State. Prior experience in the federal space, especially within Department of State, is preferred.


As a Process Improvement Analyst, you will provide recommendations, guidance, and hands-on support to carry out IT service management (ITSM), financial management, project management, and executive support functions in alignment with the client’s functional and strategic goals. You will be a trusted advisor throughout the engagement, with an understanding of the full scope of the client organization, including system operations and maintenance, Tier 2 user support responsibilities, data center operations and customers, and intra and interagency agreements. You will identify pain points and improvement opportunities to recommend and lead process changes that effect successful operations and customer support.

Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

    • Respond to external and internal data calls on behalf of the client, collaborating with other divisions as necessary to obtain and present information
    • Facilitate and guide fiscal year activities to support the client’s resource needs
    • Prepare budget requests, justifications, and financial data for recurring department processes and reviews
    • Coordinate and support client communications with stakeholders, including meeting logistics, memorandums of agreement/understanding, and action items


    • BS/BA in a related field (English, Communications, IT Management, Information Systems, Applied Information Technology, Business Analysis and Management, etc.)
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant, professional experience
    • Demonstrated understanding of IT Service Management and ITIL best practices, including requirements gathering, process definition, and reporting
    • Broad technical domain knowledge to understand basic IT concepts and relationships.
    • A passion for assisting organizations to optimize processes and practices
    • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
    • Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to create and deliver written materials to all business levels
    • Strong interpersonal skills, a customer-focused approach and an ability to work with cross-functional teams.
    • The ideal candidate exhibits an inquisitive nature, and the ability to question the status quo among a community of people they enjoy and teams that work well together
    • A willingness to constantly learn, share, and grow in service and support to the client and colleagues
    • Expertise with Microsoft Office and the Office 365 suite, including Teams, Visio, Planner, Outlook, Word, and Excel.
