We are looking for new talent to add to our growing team and are currently hiring an additional Application Developer. 

    Responsibilities

    As a mid-level Applications Developer you are expected to fill a dynamic role, often working on more than one project at a time in various capacities ranging from writing code to web design and interfacing with customers directly to gather requirements or troubleshoot issues. As a successful Developer on the team, you should possess proven capabilities to drive work independently or collaboratively with clients to understand their business challenges and develop distinctive solutions. Developers are expected to work well with Senior Team members and management and are expected to have a strong attention to detail and take responsibility for the quality of their work. You will also be expected to assist in development of project documentation.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related discipline, or equivalent related experience
    • Two to seven years of experience with J2EE, SOAP, REST Web Services
    • Strong understanding of the Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC), Agile Methodologies
    • Solid familiarity in working with Java Server Pages (JSPs), HTML, JavaScript, and JSTL
    • Two to seven years of experience with database development/design
    • Experience providing a rich UI/UX with HTML, CSS, and client side frameworks such as  jQuery, jQuery UI, ASP.NET AJAX, among similar technologies.
    • Experience utilizing Responsive Web Design principles and frameworks that work across devices, platforms, and browsers
    • Understanding of NoSQL and strong familiarity with schemaless data storage such as MongoDB
    • Experience with Cloud Computing and developing applications in the AWS environment
    • Ability to use Business Intelligence and Analytics tools like Tableau for data manipulation
    • Ability to evaluate and integrate third party controls/libraries/plugins
    • Strong documentation, writing and interpersonal skills
    • Must be US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DHS Public Trust Suitability
